Accuracy and review

Every page shows a version number and a "last reviewed" date in the footer.

Content about NDIS processes is written from publicly available official material, and each page links its sources.

When NDIS rules change, we update the content and the changelog. If we haven't caught a change yet, the official source wins: ndis.gov.au.

This site gives general information, not advice. It is not a substitute for professional advice about your situation.

Accessibility

This site is designed for people with fluctuating capacity, ADHD, autism, psychosocial disability, and cognitive fatigue.

What that means in practice: plain language with one idea per sentence. A text size control on every page. High colour contrast. Visible keyboard focus. A skip-to-content link. No pop-ups, no timers, no autoplaying anything. Progress saves automatically so stopping never loses your work.

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. If any part of this site is hard for you to use, that is a problem we want to fix. Please tell us.

Privacy

Everything you type stays in your browser, on your device. No servers receive it. No analytics. No tracking. No selling data, ever.

Independence

Plan Decoder is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NDIA, the NDIS Commission, or the Australian Government.

We use purple and teal because they are calm and readable, not to look official. If anything on this site ever makes you think we are the NDIS, tell us and we will fix it.

What we will never do

We will never assess, score, or diagnose you. We will never promise funding outcomes. We will never put words in your summaries that you didn't write. We will never pressure you to share more than you want to.
